About Me
I am a Doctoral Student and Cullman Fellow pursuing my PhD at Yale University and the New York Botanical Garden.
I study the ways plants defend themselves against pathogens and herbivores in tropical forests. Beyond investigating the evolutionary and ecological factors that shape plant defence strategies, my work aims to translate new knowledge into policies and technologies that improve forest health, for the benefit of human societies and economies.
Research Interests
- Forest Ecology and Plant Genomics: plant-enemy interactions; plant biochemical defences and resistance
- Applied Plant Biology: plant-microbiome; bioactive compounds and applications; effector biology
